Volunteer Work
Volunteer work with the Lighthouse Ceramics community, was another stretch of ongoing skills and reaching out to others in our fertile Bay Area. I have an ongoing love of ceramics and have found it to be a great medium for residencies I’ve taught through the years. The diverse variety of people including the visually impaired folks at the Lighthouse Community Center continue to inspired my work. Some years ago I painted or decorated pottery made by Dayton Grant. Collaborations as well as public art lend themselves to this pliable yet durable medium.
